Chapel of the Holy Cross

The Chapel of the Holy Cross was built in the 1640s and consecrated on 1 July 1654.

After the Franciscan order was dissolved, the town of Kroměříž used it mainly for the adjacent cemetery. Later, when the cemetery was closed and an orphanage was built right next to it, the chapel served mostly the orphanage. In 1950 it was deconsecrated and its furnishings were removed.

After its renovation the chapel is now part of a hotel and is used mainly as a function room for weddings, concerts, company training and similar events.
